Nothing.

However, I've been tweaking this and that, and
everything suddenly started working again. I THINK it
was a problem in my PHP after all, and there were no
error messages because my script doesn't have an
"error detector" function. I thought I had it built
in, but I guess not.

Sorry about the false alarm. I wrestled with this for
hours, then solved it maybe half an hour after I
posted. It sure had me running in circles, though!
