I would like to kindly ask if I could use your help/expertise for the
questions listed below, which I am conducting for my group research for my
Database Mgmt. & Design class at NYU.

Question 1

· How¹s your organization¹s systems development process like?

· Does the process resemble more the SDLC or prototyping (an
iterative process of systems development in which requirements are converted
to a working system that is continually revised through close work between
analyst & users) ? Do you use methodologies similar or both? When do you use
different methodologies?

· What methodology is used for developing applications to be used
through the web? How did you adapt to your methodologies to fit this new
systems development process?

Question 2

· How does your organization uses CASE tools in the systems
development process?

· How are CASE tools used to support data modeling and database
design?

· How does your CASE tool repository maintain the information
collected about data, data characteristics, and data usage?

· If multiple CASE tools are used on one or many projects, how do you
attempt to integrate data models and data definitions?

· Lastly, how satisfied are you, as a systems and database analyst,
with CASE tool support for data modeling and database design?

If you could answer the following questions (short answers) or know any
Systems Analyst or Database Analyst who could, I¹d greatly appreciate it. If
I can get this by Wednesday afternoon, it¹d help tremendously.

Your help is greatly appreciated,

Michele
