I really have no idea. But my best guess is, that this happens from mythfrontend. See http://svn.mythtv.org/trac/browser/trunk/mythtv/libs/libmythdb/lcddevice.cpp?rev=#L778 -- mythlcdserver started too early https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/509065 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Mythbuntu Bug Team, which is subscribed to Mythbuntu. Status in Mythbuntu, Ubuntu derivative focused upon MythTV: Incomplete Bug description: After a clean boot, MythTV is not using the LCD display. I have to kill mythlcdserver manually (why is there no init/upstart script for it?) and restart it, to get the LCD being used by the MythTV frontend/backend. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~mythbuntu-bugs Post to : mythbuntu-bugs@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~mythbuntu-bugs More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
