It's not for playing pack PVRx50 recorded files that's for sure.

Then you have some sort of issue on the machine you're playing back
with, or you're transcoding.  There is no other explination, the files
produced via the PVRx50 cards are MPEG2 files with a nuv extension
period end of story.
