Thanks David. I'm looking into that right now. One of the guys at the office just reminded me that we got an IR remote with a video card we ordered a little while ago. We really have no use for it here so I might snag it for home.
Has anyone had any luck getting an "nvRemote" working with lirc? It's a USB receiver that came with an nvidia FX 5700 cinema card. The remote itself is a hideous combination of gray, green, and black. But if it's free.....I can deal :) After searching a bit, it seems like it's very similar to an ATI remote because X10 makes both of them.
