I have been trying mythfrontend as well and keep getting the following seg fault as a result: mytoy andy # mythfrontend 2005-08-13 19:00:43.652 New DB connection, total: 1 Total desktop width=1280, height=1024, numscreens=1 2005-08-13 19:00:43.657 Using screen 0, 1280x1024 at 0,0 2005-08-13 19:00:43.661 mythfrontend version: 0.18.1.20050510-1 www.mythtv.org 2005-08-13 19:00:43.661 Enabled verbose msgs : important general 2005-08-13 19:00:43.975 Switching to square mode (PurpleGalaxy) 2005-08-13 19:00:44.436 Registering Internal as a media playback plugin. 2005-08-13 19:00:44.445 Registering MythDVD DVD Media Handler as a media handler 2005-08-13 19:00:44.446 Registering MythDVD VCD Media Handler as a media handler 2005-08-13 19:00:44.788 Registering MythMusic Media Handler as a media handler 2005-08-13 19:00:47.436 New DB connection, total: 2 2005-08-13 19:00:47.467 Connecting to backend server: 192.168.0.2:5143 (try 1 of 5) 2005-08-13 19:00:47.481 Using protocol version 15 2005-08-13 19:00:47.538 Using protocol version 15 2005-08-13 19:00:47.972 Opening audio device '/dev/dsp'. 2005-08-13 19:00:47.972 Opening OSS audio device '/dev/dsp'. 2005-08-13 19:00:47.999 Using XV port 53 Segmentation fault Could this be related to XvMC and incompatibility with my ATI Radeon card?
