If you need redundancy and want a scheme that allows you to have a huge folume look into RAID-5. It allows you n-1 size so you need to start out with atleast 3 disks, with 1 disk being overhead but as long as you only lose 1 disk at a time you will be able to survive a failure. _______________________________________________ mythtv-users mailing list mythtv-users@mythtv.org http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users www.tldp.org has a howto on LVM.
