I am not sure I fully understood your bug report. You are stating that myunity
crashes, with the error reported in the bug report title, but works fine if you
recompile myunity on your own, right?
Anyway, mind start myunity from a terminal and copying here the whole output
from launch to crash?

All works (i can see the images: icons, logos and related and i can run
myunity) if i download the deb-source
sudo apt-get source myunity
sudo tar xvzf myunity_3.1.1.orig.tar.gz
sudo chown -R $USER.$USER myunity_3.1.1
and i load recompile and run myunity from gambas2...
