Thanks for the reply made me laugh did this line. "You're holding a hammer and want someone to explain to you how to use it as a car" am going to use that myself one day.
However I did get a reply saying "You can make your very own "checks" using whatever credentials you like (and access any data you like). In other words, you don't have to use generic checks shipped with nagios" This kind of implied that it can be done with Nagios. It can't be done with check_nt, but there are other programs out there that can ask questions over WMI, and you already know of some of them. Google should hold plenty of other resources if installing nsclient, NCNet or nsclient++ is not an option for you, although some programming may be necessary on your part. -- Andreas Ericsson andreas.erics...@op5.se OP5 AB www.op5.se Tel: +46 8-230225 Fax: +46 8-230231 Considering the successes of the wars on alcohol, poverty, drugs and terror, I think we should give some serious thought to declaring war on peace. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Apps built with the Adobe(R) Flex(R) framework and Flex Builder(TM) are powering Web 2.0 with engaging, cross-platform capabilities.
