Hallo Steffen! :) And thank you very much for your explanation! I'm using Slackware-14.0 with Heilroom Mailx (AKA nail) preinstalled... ...anyway I'm trying to set up a mail configuration based just on Procmail and Esmtp as MTA so that it could be accessible using different MUA such as Mutt, mailx, also s-nail (why not...) and some other graphic one, like Balsa or Sylpheed, or something QT4 written but lightweight that I don't know... (any suggests are greatly appreciated). I want to use MUAs just to read my local mailboxes, write mail messages then send them using my MDA/MTA setup, nothing special... I just want to bypass MUAs features like move messages, filter, send via SMTP built-in and so on... I'm using also KDE on slackware but KMail/Akonadi sometimes doesn't work as expected, so finally I've decided to set up a more unix-like email configuration (rock solid and easy to manage I hope). I think your new feature will be useful to any user who want to be free to choosing a custom send-mail command. It would be a nice idea to include such an option also to next Mailx release! :D Who knows whether nail developers read this message! :) ... And who know if they agree with the idea to add a sendmail-no-default-arguments option... Let's wait for a reply... ;) Ciao! :) PS. Resent due to problem in my local mail configuration... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ nail-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/nail-devel
