Kim,
I don't have any pics. sorry. I am working on it since I have so many new
computer"gadgets". lol All you do is put white gel on the nail, make sure it
covers well no streaks. DON'T CURE IT. Then you use the striping brush and put
red strips horizontally on the nails, well kinda curved a little, corner to
corner. Not just straight stripes. Wipe your brush, then starting at
the beginning of the first stripe nearest the cuticle so your going vertically,
pull the brush through the stripes. You move over a bit and pull again. You
will go to the beginning of each stripe that has not been pulled. Working from
middle to sides. This "bleeds" the red unto the white. lol Cure, put your final
coat of whatever you use and cure. (unless the gel polish is now shiny after
curing, lol it's been a while since I have used it) It looks really cool and my
clients loved it for the holidays. The ONLY thing I hate about gel polish is
buffing it off. The color dust goes
 everywhere. lol
Now that I have posted this, there is probably a tutorial on BT. lol lol

We also just added a brand new Striping Brush in a Cleaner.  It's like a Polish
bottle full of gel Cleaner.  The striper (nylon, long and pointed) is to drag
color gel designs.  You just put the brush back in the bottle and it removes
the gel from the hairs.  Not sure of the cost and number.  It's here it is just
brand new.  Customer Service will know.  "Striper Brush with Cleaner"

Now that is a nifty thing!! I think I may get me one of those! I like doing the
"candy cane stripe" with white and red gel and this would be perfect! Thanks
Elaine!

To all the thank you's ....YOU are so Welcome!  I really could have hit you all
with lots of emails with thank you's but I am sure you'd be like...OH god
another one!  Also on the Cuccio products I'll mention the need for the finer
salts in the other two flavors and the bump in fragrance.

MARSHA...I actually added this brush to the Star Nail Line.  It has a black
handle.  It's is called the #4 Oval Gel Brush.  It is Nylon.  The hairs are so
soft you don't get that snow plow effect of scraping gel off the nail.  It just
glides on smooth.  I can use it with one of the Dark Gel colors from the Runway
collection and get a Polish Perfect application.  I had a gel brush from Japan
that was the inspiration for the #4.  The best part and true to Star Nail...it
doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I just called Cindy in Customer Service the
brush is $5.75.  We also just added a brand new Striping Brush in a Cleaner.

I'm glad you are all finding this useful information and not some sales pitch.
I do hesitate to answer a lot of the posts on here because I know it can be
perceived as pushing our company.  It is the only downside of going full time
for the company.

"Next, use a brush that is nylon and rounded (not square across the top).  A
good soft Nylon brush with a rounded shape will make life so much easier around
the skin."

I used T3 Fibergel in my early years with gel......and I use it now on
occasion. My question, Elaine, is......where do you get a brush like you have
described? I bought what was called a cat's tongue brush about 6 years ago and
I haven't been able to replace it. I think it was from Light Elegance but they
don't have them on their website. What I love about the cat's tongue brush is
that the bristles are long and flexible....not stiff like most gel brushes are.
Also the brush is pretty much a standard width but thinner in depth of bristles
which contributes to it's flexiblity. TIA!
