Maggie, I do not remember an email with that information coming through on my mailing list.? Both your mom and you are in my prayers.? My aunt had a 65 lb. tumor removed from her uterus when she was 60 years old.? She did great....and your mom will too.

It's a long story, really, that begins at least 25 years ago-- but suffice it to say, it turns out that Mom is NOT "just fat" as she has been told by several doctors over the years... and tomorrow the very cute, very young, and (crosses fingers) very skilled surgeons at Stanford expect to remove an approximately 70 pound tumor from Mom's abdomen-- they don't even know what it's attached to yet! ? She's very excited that she gets to drop about 100 lbs all at once, but pretty apprehensive since she's never had surgery before. ? Mom and I would really appreciate everyone out there just crossing your fingers and giving a little shout out to whoever you ask favors from on Mom's behalf around 1 p.m. PST tomorrow (Friday.) ?
