Interesting Della! I know acetone is drying to the nails.....and skin.....but they aren't made from styrofoam. I don't soak anyones nails in acetone for long periods, just long enough to melt away the acrylic coating. It's an impressive "show" to watch the styrofoam melt away and I think it is a cheap shot to take on Dr. Oz's part. JMHO...until proof of damage to the nails is shown. Marsha McDonald Rubino
