Lynnette,

I meant using as a soft gel polish manicure. No I have never done one of these
manicures before. I only have used gel polish over traditional gels.

Ange,
I have colored gel-the "traditional" kind that I have used on clients with
overlays. I never had it crack. Has this happened to you?

Lynnette,

I don't do the SOG, but I think the difference is that the SOG is more flexible
then the regular gels. If you used regular gel polish it would crack because it
is not as flexible as the natural nail. Is this right gang?

I am so glad I wrote this. I have talked to other techs who have the same
issue.
So, what is the deal??? This is going to be such a BIG waste of time and money.
This is just product that is really gel on the nails. What would the difference
be in just using traditional gels? I do not get it!
I want this to soak off damnit!!! LOL

I've had good luck on 1 difficult client with Young Nails Mani-Q,
which is supposed to be a soak off gel. I have had to remove it from
another client who's nails are treacherously paper thin and it just
wasn't working. BUT.....I had no luck soaking it off in acetone for an
hour! It made her nails curl majorly inwards like pincer nails and I
wound up having to file it off, which was no easy feat on curled
nails! What's up with SOG not soaking off like they advertise?????
