Business tip:
MINX is a PREMIUM service and should be Premium Priced. It's no different than Custom/Corrective services, you charge for those because they are Premium. Minx is $10.00 per sheet plus s&h. Your charge should cover the expense, your hourly rate plus a minimum of 15% additional for this service. You all know your markets and as I said before, know your craft and be honest with your guest. My personal goal each day that I am in the salon is $40.00 per hour, 10-7. I charge $60.00 for Minx(hands or feet) and $10.00 for silver and gold due to the supply and demand rule. In my opinion it takes the same amount of time to do hands or feet, therefore I charge the same for either or. Truthfully, you use less Minx on feet than you do on hands but it stays better on feet. Also, when a guest calls to inquire about Minx, I am very honest about the wearability on hands vs feet. Honesty and integrity is the key, let them make an educated decision.
