Hi Tanisha, No you cannot use a gel topcoat over regular polish on natural nails. The polish will not dry.

It is painful with the stiffies and those who want to see what you are doing! But most of my clients then play and pick up the stray pieces after I am done!!! I love my Partigon!!! I am the one that suggested to Lynnette to have your client hold it and I quit doing it. I think I will start doing it again. I found that just a few did a good job with it and the rest were very lazy with it and didn't even hold it in the right place. I guess they need trained because for the one that really did hold it right it worked great. I don't know if they were just not inerested or didn't feel that they should have to do this. Laura you just saved me over $50 because I was ready to order that last night and I thought I better run it by you guys first. <http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/tsmileys2/05.gif> Angie Wingerter _____ From: Laura Merzetti <la...@scratchmyback.ca> To: nailtech@googlegroups.com Sent: Tue, April 6, 2010 7:32:26 AM Subject: RE: NailTech:: dust collectors Angela, I have that dust fan as well, although I no longer use it. The one I have is an upside down V with a fan on one side that draws in the dust. I use the Luraco Partigon now, and I don't use the attachment for the efile because it doesn't fit mine. I just use the desktop attachment and place it where it needs to be. I could ask the clients to hold it but I don't feel it's necessary. It picks up more dust than the dust fan does in my opinion. I think the smaller efile attachment you're thinking about might be the one that Gina sells. I used it for awhile but found it pulled on the handpiece too much and was a little uncomfortable. I don't think I can use anything attached to my handpiece if it's going to pull away like that. I think it was Dayna Knight that put a picture of her setup to control the dust on facebook for us. I found the dust suction collector thing on e-bay for about $50 free shipping. There are two different shaped ones though. I am wondering which one is better if anyone knows anything about these. She also had a small tube attached to her e-file. It wasn't the luraco. It was a real small tube that didn't look like it would get in your way. Dayna or anyone else, please let me know where I can get on of these. I am really needing help controling the dust. I have the luraco but it really hurts my wrists to attach it to my handpiece and it just doesn't work well with ac. <http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/tsmileys2/05.gif> Angie Wingerter -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "NailTech" group.
