This is how I do a french SO with Star Eco.
I start with the pinky on the left hand.   I do the base, cure, wipe with dry
brush, pink, cure, apply white (I brush it on like regular polish,
it self-levels well) swipe smile line, flash cure, go to right pinky while left
is flash curing and rotate hands until all 10 fingers are done, then cure
whites for 2 minutes.  Then I put on the SO topcoat (I am using the one from
Dashing Diva and I like it alot) or a layer of clear gel for the topcoat.
I brush it over the pink just down to the white with most of the SO topcoat or
clear gel staying on the pink, then just lightly brush over the white and cap
the free edge.  Let it self level for 5 seconds or so, then cure.  Works for
me, no bumpy white.  I have done Lynnette's method as well, it works great
also.

Subject: NailTech:: SOG French

For those of you doing SOG French and using something out of a pot, like Star's
ECO, can someone tell me the best way to apply the white?  I got the ECO sample
and am doing a layer of Base Gel, curing, then Pink, curing, then White, curing
and then clear, curing, just like the instructions.  How do you apply the white
so that it is not too thin or too thick.  Looking for some tips here.....  Do
you apply left to right, right to left, brushing sideways and then swipe
smile?  Do you apply in a downward motion then swipe smile?  I just can seem to
do it without it either being too thick, too thin or having a hump at the end.
HELP!
