Really love this kind of post....any others please feel free to share!

Kai Keach, my roomie gave me a MINX lesson last night. Some tips she had were
to pre-warm-- lay your sheets under the lamp for a few minutes (lamp was
up maybe 9 inches?) before you start. Also once you take one off the sheet,
hold it under the lamp until it gets limp.

Anyone else got good tips?

Subject: NailTech:: show/sog/bbq

went around and bought my must haves yesterday, hope to find different
things today. bbq was packed!!!!!!!!!!! 200 people, food was awesome,
everythng went smooth!! Nails Magazine, Hanna, Sree, Michelle, Kim and
Cyndy did an awesome show with the Nail art Gallery!!!!!!!

went to gelish and found out the 2 most important things, "scrub" or
"massage" the base in, the reason the brush is so short and stubby.
Hardly any base at all loaded on the brush. Also, very important to
wipe the base after the base is cured, not with alochol, but as
someone said with a dry brush or a lint free pad (my jo ann fabrics
foam) heheh.then apply thin color coats, top.

with creative shellac, she said if she had to put a percentage on the
strength added to the natural nail she would say 50%.

Also, when adding the first coat of shellac, it is okay that the color
is streaky, thin thin. which I was trying to get that first coat on
like we do with polish.

And capping, she capped with the base, the first color, the second
color, the third color and the top coat. and would take orangewood
stick and run under each nail after each application.

I will say everyone was buying the shellac, on the shuttle, looked
like even all hair stylists were buying this system.

Will go to Star Nail today and Elena D. will be showing me ECO SOG,
updates later. diana from indiana
