Carol,

I am doing exactly what you are describing only I have packets made up ahead
of time with 10 foil sheets and 10 cotton pads, ready to go, just grab a set
and apply. I am using the cotton squares that you can get cheap at Sallys
that are for makeup. I use cheap highlighting foil from Sallys as well. I
take five sheets of foil, cut in half on the long side so it makes approx a
6X6 square. I then take five of the square cotton pads and cut them in half
to make 10. fold the foils in half and add the cotton into the fold and
they will neatly store in a basket for when you need them.

To use, I first take my sanding band and remove all of the shine from the
Magic Manicure. I take the cotton pad, soak it with acetone (It was a 2 x 2
cut in half andd you fold that half in half to make a small square) and
apply it to the nail. I then put the foil under the finger, fold the top
over the front of the finger, fold the right sides to the left, then take
the left sides and fold over to the right and wrap around finger. This
holds it tight. After getting all 10 wrapped, I pull down my table light
for extra heat.

If you are having trouble, my guess is that either you are not using enough
acetone or you aren't applying foil tight enough.

Also, when I remove the foil, I remove one at a time and push the product
off with my cuticle pusher. I will do maybe two nails and then prep the
nail, lightly with my sanding band. That gives you time to let the other
nails process long enough because sometimes we work too fast and some nails
aren't fully soaked off yet.

Hope that helps!

R
