Hi Kelly, Rockstar is a technique, not a product. The basics start with
embedded glitter in clear gel or acrylic. From there, it has also come to
encompass a variety of embedding techniques.

Our local (Tulare County, CA) Young Nails distributor (Melissa Garcia) is
credited with coining the term "Rockstar." She and her former co-worker attest
that "Rockstar" is just a term used for any technique where the design is built
in.

You can use any gel or acrylic from any manufacturer and any
glitter/confetti/mylar/stuff you find lying around for your designs.
