Rhond, I'm going to have to say I bought from that very same batch..
I had some that just would not budge anything.. I finally took it to
the recycling center to dispose and only buy the 16z bottles now.. a
little more money for ya'll but I've not been unhappy since and I
only also buy acetone at sallys, while here or in VA it's sallys or
sometimes cosmoprof (which thankfully is 20 minutes south in VA)

It was so bad, it didn't even remove polish. Maybe it was a bad

Also Shellac.
That is interesting that you found Sally's acetone to not work.
I only buy my acetone from Sally's and I can soak off my Gelish in
five minutes.
I do not use the cotton ball method; I soak using Nailite cups IF I
soak off. It takes polish so fast, even the glittery ones.
Been using it for over ten years.
Anyone else have a problem with Beauty Secrets acetone?
Buenos dias!

Della,
Two questions......are you using primer and if so is it an acid
free one and if so are you applying to the entire nail or just the free edge?
Second question, are you using Gelish Foundation for your base, if
so, are you applying it extrememly thin and scrubbing it into the
nail? It should be so thin that the nail does not look smooth.
In my experiences, priming the entire nail and applying Foundation
too thick are the major reasons why Gelish will not soak off easily.
Also, make sure you are using a good, quality acetone. We
purchased acetone from Sally's and it was crap, was like using
water. I order my acetone from The Industry Source or
Premiere Beauty Supply and have no issues. Are you using the foil
and cotton method? If so, make sure you are really soaking the
cotton ball and wrapping the foil with the shiny side to the nail
and wrapping tightly.
I hope this information helps!!
