Renee, the dimpled look that you're referring to sounds like there might have been oil on the nail plate, or just some small bit of contamination. My clients aren't allowed to have their hands once I begin the application process because they seem to mess with their hair, scratch their face, wipe their hands in their clothing, etc... Any if these things will cause the gel to skate around on the nail... What you're describing is what happens to me if a client has gotten something on their nails... I can't describe what I mean, but think of how oil and water dont mix, they kind of form little bubbles from each other... That is kind of what's happening with the gel. I have had it happen when I do a Uv top coat over pink and whites, it is SO frustrating because nothing fixes it except filing it all off and starting over.
