I was doing a wet manicure and using nail fresh and it too caused rippling and bubbling. Do only a dry manicure and scrub fresh or alcohol on the nail plate prior to application of the base coat. Also make sure to brush off any residue i.e. cuticle or dust to make sure you have a clean clear palate. Best of luck!
