Well it doesn't really make a difference if they book any of these on the
phone with you or online, and then show up without nails..same difference
right? They can call you and talk to you on the phone, book a fill, and
show up with no nails on. Or book a full set over the phone, show up and
decide they want nail art too. It already happens, so you would deal with
it the same way. You would have to set up the services online to be as
explicit as possible so that the client chooses the most correct service.

I guess it just matters what your priorities are here. If you want to
decrease no-shows, online booking with a credit card capture is a great way
to eliminate that issue.

Subject: NailTech:: more ?'s: trusting your clients with online booking

Ok... so for those of you who have online scheduling, do you have trouble
with clients booking services that aren't what they actually want once they
show up? Like-- do they book for a full set of pink and white only to show
up and want to add on half an hour of nail art too?

Or what about the client who BOOKS a fill and then shows up with NO NAILS ON
at all?

At least when I'm talking to them on the phone I get a chance to do a little
mini-consultation and I can usually tell if they're going to shuffle their
feet and waste time. How does online self-scheduling affect that?
