They're going to roto root all the ick out, then cut out all the polyps (which apparently formed as a result of infection) then reconstruct a collapsed sinus cavity. On Friday I had the pre-admitting meeting with a nurse at the hospital....she advises that during surgery they pack the sinus cavities with gauze....the morning after surgery they remove the packing and, according to the kind nurturing RN it's gonna' hurt so much I might pass out!!!! So, needless to say, I am now highly motivated to never go through this again. So it's time to invest in some good ventilaton.
