Y'know, you'd THINK it would be possible to set [LIST_TAG] vs. "" and
footer vs no-footer as per-subscriber preferences on the blasted list.

PS: Count me as thinking both are stupid, particularly the footer
(speaking as someone who was on nanog-admin for over two years, and
saw probably 2 or 3 requests to unsubscribe over his entire tenure
from people who couldn't figure out how to unsubscribe).
