+1.  I think redirecting traffic to mailop, dns-operations, spam-l
or outages (as appropriate) is a fine idea.

Probably so.  Although there's some value in knowing "it's not just me"
for many values of "me", which is why I checked the outages list before
attempting to perform any diagnosis.
