It has been standard for mailing lists for a quarter of a century now.
Isn't it time NANOG caught up with mailing list best practices?
FWIW, the old configuration didn't mark up the subject or add a footer
which has the advantage of not breaking the originating DKIM signature.
I had always assumed that that was on purpose.
