Dear Friends, Relatives, and Colleagues of Bruce:
Just spoke with the ICU nurse at the VA and Bruce was resting. She said
he is doing fine and may be moved out of there tomorrow (not home just
somewhere else in the hospital where he'll probably be for a week).
Yesterday, he told me when I visited that the doctor said the operation went
perfectly and he has three good-flowing veins/arteries or whatever pumping
that life.
Bruce was really pleased with all the messages and sends his greetings
to everyone.
The School Board hearing is tomorrow (Monday) at 6 pm; some of the
national coverage items have been added to our web page if you haven't seen
them

Also, on Tuesday evening on the Michael Sullivan show Pat Merzlak is
scheduled to appear along with several others (most of whom are on this
mailing list...but I don't have info to confirm right with me). I think
that may come on at 7 pm on MSNBC.

in NC!! (some of you shared great letters to the Lions Club! Thanks!)
