Subject: Spotlight on Hells Canyon

Hells Canyon Preservation Council and Alliance for the Wild Rockies web
designer, Mark Alan Wilson, teamed up to create June's Wild Rockies
Bioregional Spotlight, "Hells Canyon/ Chief Joseph National Preserve."

The Hells Canyon of the Snake River -the deepest river-carved canyon in the
world- forms the core of this mostly vertical ecosystem. The 1,439,444
acre Hells Canyon/ Chief Joseph National Preserve is proposed under the
Northern Rockies Ecosystem Protection Act, H.R. 488, (NREPA) before the
106th Congress.

Please visit the web address below to find out more about the Greater Hells
Canyon/Wallowa Ecosystem.
