Subject: QUERY: Historian for Buffalo Soldier Panel?

My name is Jodi Rave. I'm a native journalist who has agreed to be on a
panel to discuss conflicting cultural views between native and black people
over the role of buffalo soldiers during the Indian Wars. I've written
about this subject, but we also need a native historian who could provide
some context. The panel will take place during the Unity '99 journalists of
color conference. More than 6,000 journalists will attend this event July
7-11 in Seattle. The panel is scheduled for July 9th from 2-3:30 p.m.
Again, we need a native historian on this subject. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Jodi Rave
