This is acceptable for me. I would not go into the extent of adding
yet another layer of processing just to save conn threads from blocking.
I believe the thread-pool of conn threads dealing large uploads is
perfectly OK to start with. If this ever becomes a problem for somebody
we could add intermediate socket spooler threads.

And the implementation also does not seem to be a rocket science.
I'm all for this.
