I am sorry, i have no idea how i got 6000 req/sec, i am trying to
reproduce it and i cannot, all i got is around 1200 req/sec

does not stand anymore, as far as I can see.
therefore I asked: what IS the problem? IOW, we
do not have any speed problem. Rather usage pattern.
