The latest Fedora Core 3 test 2 release is now available! This means that after a bit of testing, there will be yet another Fedora release. But what does this mean for Fedora users? Youll find the latest GCC compiler suite, the GNOME 2.8 desktop, KDE 3.3, and a kinder, gentler, yet not-a-bit-less-effective SELinux policy implementation for security. Improvements have been made the the printing system, and Ximians (now Novells) Outlook-compatible Evolution 2 client is included.
One of the great things about Fedora Core is that you, the user, can participate! Join the Fedora test-list mailing list and chime in with suggestions. You should probably be familiar with Bugzilla, but all (considerate and intelligent) comments are welcomed. The Fedora Projects download instructions will give you the basics of getting your own copy. You can get a copy of the new test release via the projects mirror site. As always, using the torrent download link will be faster in the long run and more considerate for other users.
