Quite simply put any apm calls (whether closing the lid or explicitly hitting
the suspend keys) in XF4 on Debian GNU/Linux (woody/testing) doesn't work
well. It will manage to freeze, and there's no keyboard no mouse, can't kill
the server, no control-alt-delete....
However, the machine was running potato (stable) and uses some version of
XF3.3.x using the svga drivers, and it worked flawlessly. I could open and
close the lid all i want and it won't crash.
I'll check it out once again to double check.
