The whole intention behind that posting (looking for a windows driver) is to stir up 
trouble on the list (or for laugh factor perhaps seeing what the reply would be). I 
have no problem making fun of them, if they can make their way to this list and post 
to it, then they should have no problem getting to www.dell.com and getting their 
driver. Even a non english speaking person would know how to get to www.dell.com as 
the information would be included with their PC. If it offends anyone that a person 
looking for windows software on a list that's main focus is unix drivers, then they 
have problems that can't be resolved on list.

Well... yes. The guy was lost, but quite how he had ended up here is beyond

anyone's guess. Dell, being a huge company, has a web presence in many, many

languages/countries. Just typing www.dell.<your country's domain suffix> is

likely to get you to the right place, then it should be plain sailing.


While it's wrong to blast these guys off the face of the earth for asking a

simple question, it's also unhelpful to suggest that they change their

operating system to one which we could provide a driver for. Unfortunately,

humour is one of those things which often doesn't translate well.
