Hi folks, check out Ebay item 150510936469, if you haven't already done so, type number ITS1A. Their description says:
"These thyratron-type tubes pumped with neon, but makes beautiful emerald-green color of light: green is by phosphor film over the electrode, with orange shade of neon discharge around segments - looks very cool! These can be operated by pulsed TTL-level signal - you can apply short pulse to grid to turn taken segment into active state, which is very convenient. And no current-limiting resistors are needed! All resistors are already inside, just provide operating voltages. Besides, you can make different symbols due to independent 7- segment design." Sounds kind of interesting. Has anyone built something with these yet? It is the first time I see these offered, IIRC. The seller sits in the US, quite unusual for Soviet displays.
