That looks like a gizmo with some special wiring. If the camera showed you the
backs of the switches, it might become more obvious. It looks like he places his
thumb on the back of each switch before turning it on, possibly flipping a
hidden second switch to direct the current into the proper bulb.
Or it could be magic.
