Hi All,
Here's some links to a few CD's that were recorded and mixed at a
couple of studios that I do work for. Both have Elites (one is an Elite
II) which I have upgraded the master section on. The Elite II has had
all of the channels upgraded, the Elite has had about a dozen done, and
that's where a lot of the work gets done.
Elite II:

tracked and mixed. Most of the drums used the upgraded Neotek mic pre's.
While you are at this page, scroll down to "Over my head", a terrific
recording, that I had nothing to do with. Hard to describe, but well
worth owning.

and mixed.
http://www.davet.ca/ "Lost Horizon", tracked and mixed.
Elite:
http://www.corinraymond.com/ I love this CD...sounds like they are in
the room with you. Tracked and mixed.
http://www.myspace.com/kensingtonhillbillys Two CD's "Bone in My Back
Yard" and "Tecumseh", both tracked and mixed. One track on "Bones" was
done at another studio...
I'm really happy with the way these records turned out. I think
they show that the Neotek "sound' is really almost a lack of a
sound...just transparency, which makes for some very intimate sounding
recordings. I'd love to hear what you think. Also, anyone else who has a
console that I've worked on, I'd love to know about any recordings
you've done.
All the best,
Ike
