"Rev" is short for "Reverse" and it swaps the signal path of the main
fader (big) and the monitor fader (small, black knob). You also need to
select the source for each fader, with the two buttons (per fader) that
are adjacent to the small fader. So, to get a mic through to the 2-mix
on the large fader, you would select "Mic" for the source for the large
fader, and "Rev" to route it through to the 2-mix.

too. I'll check the Track Studio PDF of the manual and see if it's

You have to make sure of a couple of things:
1) that the input is routed to the stereo mix. If you are using the
large fader, you need to push the "Rev" button.
2) you need to make sure that you are listening to the stereo mix.
This is simply a case of making sure that all four of the "Tape-1",
"Tape-2" buttons are in the up position and that the master fader is
up.
And finally, the Track Studio, in Plano, TX have a full .PDF
of the Elite manual on their website. I don't have the URL handy, but
it's in the equipment list under "console".

EDACs have 3 possible pin types.
One is for circuit board mounting, which you won't have.
Then there is a crimp type which needs the correct tool to make
connections.
Lastly there is solder type which you obviously solder.
You can get a pin ejector tool which you can release the gold pins
from
the housing if you need to 'reallocate' a few connections. The
ejector
will release all 3 types of pin.
In desperation you can get the pins out using a very fine
jewellers
screwdriver as the pins have a 'barb' on one side which lock into
the
plastic moulding.
