I recall that F production was halted for awhile, perhaps as C&K
converted their processes to be RoHS compliant? Around the same time,
E-Switch discontinued their version of the F-series, while C&K (?)
discontinued the Dialistat switches that Neve used in their desks.
Mechanical pushbutton switches are a bit of a "dinosaur" in this day and
age, but I guess if demand keeps up, C&K will keep ranking 'em out. If
demand drops below a certain point, then the switches will likely be halted.
However, Toneluck has introduced their own version of the F-series:

I haven't seen these in-person, so I have no opinion about the quality.

They also have the ones with gold contacts, but OUCH on the price!!
I keep getting nervous about the future availability of "F" switches,
so grab what you need now...they MAY become made from Unobtanium in
the future.
