Hi! I'm experiencing problems with nessus when running against large number of hosts. Because of these problems I've divided the netblock into smaller blocks each of which contain 500 addresses, but the problem doesn't seem to go away.
My problem is that nessusd hangs while scanning these blocks. It may scan few blocks just fine, but then all threads just hang. I'm currently using nessus 1.1.12 but the problem appeared also on the stable tree. I'm running nessus on linux (SuSE v7.2 and kernel 2.4.14) all of the threads seem to be doing something like this: send(15, "s:a:123.123.123.123:352:630\n", 28, 0 <unfinished ...> (123.123.123.123 probably represents ip address to be scanned) Any ideas? -- Osmo Paananen
