I disagree with the disagreement... if it's a FAQ, it should be in the FAQ.
However, the FAQ also needs to come with a disclaimer that there are a LOT
of variables, and the variables will change over time.

I think it is useful to have a benchmark even if things are going to change.

I disagree, because it will change every time a new plug-in comes out
or what your scan/plug-in settings are.  If you want to know what
impact Nessus will have, run a typical scan and use TCPDUMP (or
Ethereal or Sniffer Pro or whatever) to measure bandwidth usage.  If
you need help with this, feel free to email me offline.
