Hi all, When nessus scans a MacOS X server, find_services.nes spends about 20 minutes after dealing with port afpovertcp (548/tcp). Then it is stopped by nessus. The following message appears in nessusd.messages (an equivalent message appears in the final report): ...find_services.nes (pid 10698) is slow to finish- killing it
During these 20 minutes, a sniffer shows that there is no packet out of the nessusd server. This happens with MacOS X, but not with MacOS 9.x that runs the afpovertcp service (548/tcp). Anybody runs into the same problem ? Regards, Ha Nguyen
