I haven't tried using the certificate yet. Try connecting from NessusWX
using user authentication to isolate the problem to just certificate
authentication if possible. You can do this by using the nessus-adduser
command, and follow the prompts. See what happens when you try to
authenticate with a user account.

Subject: NessusWX cannot connect to nessusd

Hi,

I installed nessusd from FreeBSD's port tree (4.7-STABLE) and running
nessusd according to the manual (/usr/local/sbin/nessusd -D). I've
generated
a certificate for my NessusWX client (version 1.4.2) and copied it to my
workstation. However, connecting to the nessus server gives me the
following
error:

Nessus Console [Version 1.4.2] Ready
SSL library initialized
Connecting to server nessus.domain.com (port 1241) using SSLv3 encrypted
connection...
SSL connection using DES-CBC3-SHA
ERROR: Server doesn't support NTP/1.2 protocol. Connection terminated.

Nessus is running on the machine:

79194 ?? Is 0:00.04 nessusd: waiting for incoming connections
(nessusd)
79187 p0- S 0:00.74 nessusd: bpf server (nessusd)

What could be wrong?
