<http://groups.google.com/groups?selm=69aaebf1.0205112230.32c6d270%40posting.google.com&output=gplain> is nearly current. The profiles functionality doesn't seem to be present in RH7.2. I don't know about 7.3 offhand. It diverges from present reality (RH8.0) at step 3. Instead of the kernel boot options (defined in /etc/lilo.conf or /etc/grub.conf) differing with 'PROFILE=...' parameters, the parameter expected by RH8.0 is 'netprofile=...' Also, /etc/rc.d/init.d/network doesn't need any editing - the standard RH8.0 rc.sysinit appears to take care of things. > Thanks for the help! > Mark Best Regards, Alex. -- Alex Butcher Brainbench MVP for Internet Security: www.brainbench.com Bristol, UK Need reliable and secure network systems?
