This question was raised several times in this mailing list.
Should it be included in the Nessus FAQ?

As I know there is no command line parameter to be passed to Nessus to
enable "...plugins that have the ability to crash remote services or
hosts".
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

If you want to enable them you should enable plugins which belong to the
denial and destructive_attack categories in the nessusrc file.

You can simplify the process of updating nessusrc file by using the
update-nessusrc utility.
