Your message contains what appear to be your nessus username and
password.  You should consider changing the latter as it's been
disclosed and archived for all to see.

It looks like the client is displaying the server's certificate and
waiting for you to accept it.  The trouble is, update-nessusrc doesn't
offer you a way to actually do so. 

You should run the nessus command quoted above by hand to check and, if
appropriate, accept the server's certificate.  Once you've accepted it,
rerun update-nessusrc -- it should then work.
