Yes I would agree that this tester did not understand *nix very well based on the statement at the end "lack of an automated update service". Um ... crontab -e?
In fact, this type of standard update method is refreshing after wrestling with several proprietary update mechanisms that had fun happy GUIs ... GUIs that I almost ruined by flinging my chair through the monitor because they didn't work. Thanks but I'll stick with the ugly ol' cronjob script. > well, at least we know that most of the "VA" testers don't > understand *nix or open source tools. the writer was > probably MCSE! he probably thought command line was > something he types in the URL field in the web browser :) > -- > <<gyoo [at] attbi [dot] com>> > > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- > Hash: SHA1 > > > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- > Version: GnuPG v1.2.0 (GNU/Linux) > > iQCUAwUBPhxERRxoVYCzmrKXAQJK5gP3Y7CTsFyKpEz2p5W4GWI9+qSm+kWfdJ0R > xNlma0Ma9rAL/OBJcZMo5IXyXas+3Edogbv4Al6dIf8lot1WS0Iaxxl/cg2f7gf+ > otf7LfNpZDE/6OzR7A1qN6baPMLSjGzywwQWMfSVuWWb6kGQxMsA13Kn68G7Ozxs > 5CODZqUPyg== > =AolA > -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- > ===== ----------------------------------------------------------- Know yourself and know your enemy and you will never fear defeat. ----------------------------------------------------------- __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
