Hi all, I am new to Nessus and I am trying to install the version 2.0.1 on HP-UX 11i.
When running the "nessus-installer.sh" script, I encounter the following error: "x - Compiling the libraries x -- Configuring the sources for your system configure: error: see the INSTALL doc for more info configure: error: ./configure failed for libpcap-nessus **** An error occured :/" The file "nessus_compilation" does not give me a lot more details, see below for the last few lines: "loading cache ../../config.cache checking host system type... hppa2.0w-hp-hpux11.11 checking target system type... hppa2.0w-hp-hpux11.11 checking build system type... hppa2.0w-hp-hpux11.11 checking for gcc... (cached) cc checking whether the C compiler (cc ) works... yes checking whether the C compiler (cc ) is a cross-compiler... no checking whether we are using GNU C... (cached) no checking whether cc accepts -g... (cached) no checking that cc handles ansi prototypes... no checking for HP-UX ansi compiler (cc -Aa -D_HPUX_SOURCE)... no" NOTE1: I had to modify "nessus-installer.sh" to replace "seteuid" with "setgid". NOTE2: I have not installed OpenSSL. Did anyone encountered the same issue? Could anyone, who has successfully performed this install on HP-UX, help me? Thanks in advance for any suggestion.
